Welcome to the orientation page for the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards final Public Review.
This public review will be accomplished using one unique survey for each arts discipline in a three step process.

STEP ONE - DOWNLOAD DRAFTS
In order to complete this review you will need to have ready draft copies of the standards, which may be viewed and downloaded using the links below or on our home page at
. Each page of standards also provides links links to other art forms, should you wish to review more than one discipline.

STEP TWO - ORIENTATION to REVISIONS
After downloading drafts of the standards, please view the the NCCAS professional development module that introduces you to the revised organizational structure of the standards (Framework Matrix) and gives some background information, thereby providing a context for reviewing the work.
Several structural changes have been made between the last review (September, 2013) and the current draft based on reviewer feedback. Even if you have reviewed prior modules, we recommend you participate in the current module to get up to speed on the changes that have been made.

The review is set up in these five sections:
Section I: Demographics Questions
Section II: Overarching Review Questions
Section III: Performance Standards Review Questions
Section IV: Model Cornerstone Assessment Review Questions
Section V: Supplemental Materials Review Questions
Section VI: Your Final Suggestions
Section VII: Finish and Submit
At the bottom of each section you will find “BACK” and “NEXT” buttons to navigate through the survey. Clicking "NEXT" advances you to the next page and saves any information or responses you have typed into the survey. You may pause and save your work at anytime by clicking "NEXT" and then bookmarking the page. If you choose to save your work and return later, you will need to have cookies enabled. You will also need to return to the same computer and use the same browser to access your saved survey. Once you have completed the survey, click “DONE” to submit your responses.
